  • Booking information: event date, guest count, special requests, and contact details you provide.
  • Venue information: listing details, photos, and pricing provided by venue owners.
  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, and device/browser information for analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Platform.
  • To send booking confirmations and notifications via email.
  • To facilitate communication between users and venue owners.
  • To improve our services and user experience.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With venue owners: When you make a booking, your contact name, phone, and email are shared with the venue owner to fulfil the booking.
  • With service providers: We use Supabase (database/auth) and Resend (email). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Pakistani law or a valid court order.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Supabase Row Level Security policies, and server-side authentication. However, no system is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at support@shaadigah.com to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children

Shaadigah is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
